Lekoseum - A museum with room for play!
At Lekoseum we pride ourselves in offering a visit that's enjoyable for adults and children alike. Here you can play with our extensive BRIO train systems, build anything you like (almost) with BRIO builder and much more. As a museum you can of course also explore our contribution to children's learning and development, and learn how BRIO came to be.
Tour our toy history
Take a stroll through BRIO’s toy history. Here you’ll see toys that are over a hundred years old – and of course a display of our classic wooden toys.
Love of all railways
There are more than wooden railways at Lekoseum. Since 1938, BRIO has been the distributor of the German brand ‘Märklin’ which produce model railway systems, and our museum has a collection. Take the controls and become a train conductor for a day.
Barbie was originally introduced to Sweden by BRIO in 1963 and has since had a very special relationship.
Barbie and her friends and family have their own room at Lekoseum. In the "Barbie" room we have an exclusive exhibition stretching all the way back to the 1960s.
Visit Santa all year around
Christmas may only occur once a year, but at “Lekoseum's"Christmas wonderland, Santa and his elves are busy all year around. They even use tools from the old BRIO factory! And don’t forget, kids can leave their Christmas wish-lists here too.
Hungry? Stop for Swedish “Fika”
Our café serves simpler food items aimed to satisfy adults and children alike. You can also leave the museum to visit one of the nearby restaurants, and then return to Lekoseum to finish your tour.
Lekoseum Shop & Factory Outlet
Even our shop is part of history, currently placed near the same spot Ivar Bengtsson created his "15-öre bazar" once a upon a time.
The shop aims to supply a extensive range of BRIO products at competitive prices. Part of the store is dedicated to an outlet segment, where you can find excellent offers.
BRIO Lekoseum is located on BRIOgatan 1 & 2 in Osby. Sweden.
You can also reach the Lekoseum by train, using either the Öresundståg or Pågatåg. The railway station in Osby is located just one minute’s walk from Lekoseum and trains depart every 30 min.
