Press release
BRIO’s President and CEO, Andreas Sbrodiglia, has decided, in consultation with the Board of Directors, to step down from his position with the company effective year-end. The reason is that the President and the Board have different opinions in regards to various important strategic issues. The Board will immediately begin looking for a successor.
“Andreas Sbrodiglia has been a driving force in the extensive restructuring work BRIO is implementing, and we wish him the best of luck. We are now looking for a successor who can continue the changes that have been introduced and realize the inherent potential of the BRIO brand,” says Chairman of the Board Heikki Takanen.
Peder Zetterberg, who served last fall as an advisor to the company and its management, will take over as acting President on January 1, 2011.
Andreas Sbrodiglia will receive compensation during a twelve-month term of notice, in addition to three months of severance.
